What makes any art special is a combination of our own perceptions (difficult to define) and the distinct attributes of the artwork itself, the artist and the circumstances in which it was painted. Elephant art is no exception to these principles. I’m sure that you will find appeal in some if not all of the various styles of elephant art that I have selected to show here on our website, whether it be the complex patterns typical of Jojo, the simple strokes of Pong, or alternative distinctive styles available from our other artists.

In the meet the artists section I hope that you’ll enjoy reading about the special circumstances of each elephant artist and of their mahouts too, as well as seeing a recent photograph of the artist him/herself taken at the Center where they live and work. This additional information may help you to decide which art to purchase.
