Aum-Mon Setting Up

Although Chiang Mai is a thriving tourist centre and a very popular city (it was voted the 5th best city in the world by the readers of Travel and Leisure magazine in their 2005 survey) we do not get sufficient exposure for our project locally. I want to tell the world about our elephants – the plight of the Asian elephant generally and about the remarkable achievements of the Thai Elephant Conservation Center (now officially called the National Elephant Institute) in helping so greatly to conserve this wonderful mammal. This website is my means of doing so.
